Apricot (kernel).   The kernel of apricot contains 35 to 60% non-drying fat oil, close to the chemical composition of peach. It is used in cosmetology due to a variety of useful properties. The oil contained in apricot kernels intensively nourishes, softens and moisturises the skin as well as promotes cell regeneration. It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, smoothes the expanse of even deep wrinkles and tones the skin in general. It has a pronounced antibacterial effect, reducing redness and inflammation.

Avocado (oil) is considered a base oil. This means that it can not be diluted with other vegetable oils (such as the case with essential oils), and is used as a base to produce a variety of masks, creams, and other cosmetics. But also in cosmetology avocado oil  can be used by itself, without any additives. It is especially remarkable for the effect that it has on the skin. This oil is unique, its fat composition closest to the human skin fats, and therefore, all the nutrients contained in the oil in a maximum amount penetrate to where they are needed. That is why the use of avocado oil for the face is best that you can offer your skin. Avocado oil is excellent for all skin types. In addition, unlike many other vegetable oils, it is quickly absorbed and leaves no greasy residue on your face.

Quince (seeds). The aqueous solution from quince seeds is used for the production of eye lotions for cosmetic purposes and to strengthen hair.

White Acacia is used in the treatment of thrombophlebitis and varicose veins.

Marshmallow (root) is used as an anti-inflammatory agent.

 Manchurian Aralia (root) possesses antitoxic, tonic, anti-inflammatory properties. The positive effect of Aralia is associated with the activation of enzyme systems and strengthening the body's energy supply.

Arnica mountain - an old folk remedy, arnica flower tincture is used in combating skin rashes. 

Chokeberry Aronia is used as a healing agent.

Labrador tea. It was found that the leaves of Daurian Ledum and has a bactericidal effect and can eliminate many microorganisms. Extract of rosemary gives a pronounced antioxidant effect, which is of great importance in the complex treatment of patients with very different diseases, and especially the “diseases of civilization”. Immortelle has antibacterial activity, which is associated with the presence of resin acids.

Veronica longifolia is effective against many skin conditions of an inflammatory nature, including fungal skin lesions.

Grape seed oil – a source of vitamin E, a powerful natural antioxidant. Grape seed oil has a strong regenerating, antioxidant, moisturising, vitalizing action. Restores the turgor ageing skin. It is used to preserve skin elasticity while losing weight. Perfect for all skin tonic, effective in the fight against cellulite, varicose veins and rosacea. It strengthens and makes the elastic walls of blood and lymphatic vessels, activating circulation. It is recommended rubbed into the scalp with brittle, dull hair, is well suited for use as a lip balm and tool for nails.

Clove has antiseptic, antispasmodic, analgesic and a firming action. The best known application of spicy cloves are for dental pain and inflammation of the gums.  Therefore, clove oil is often found in mouthwashes and toothpastes. The oil has a disinfectant effect on the skin.

Geranium (essential oil) - anti-inflammatory, regenerating properties.

Highlander pepper clears the face of scars, eliminates freckles and chronic bruising.

Persicaria maculosa.   Extractions and infusions of herbs used in psoriasis, eczema and allergic dermatoses. The juice of the plant or crushed roots and stems are able to heal wounds, and using poultices can address rheumatism, flux and swelling.

Highlander bird is used to treat various skin diseases, as well as a healing agent for skin lesions.

Mustard powder is used as a substitute for soap. When shampooing, slight irritation of the skin causes the blood to flow to these areas of the body, providing a therapeutic effect.

Grapefruit (Live) - aromatic adaptogen, aphrodisiac. Grapefruit essential oil is well suited for oily skin – normalizes the sebaceous glands, bleaches and tightens pores. Due to the improvement of the drainage functions prevents the formation of comedones.

Gryzhnika (naked) is used topically as a wound and skin-healing agent.

Elecampane (root) in official dermatology is used topically as an ointment for eczema and skin itching.

Oak (bark), astringent, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties.

Melilotus officinalis is  used topically as an emollient agent to soften and smooth the skin.  

Blackberry (extract) improves the water-salt metabolism, promotes skin cell renewal and improves its elasticity. In dermatology and cosmetology blackberry extract is used to eliminate eczema, dermatitis, irritations and inflammations.

Ginseng (root) is used as a tonic, stimulant and adaptogenic agent that increases the body's resistance to disease.

Jojoba (oil) - liquid wax. Quickly absorbed, easily penetrates through the skin barrier, together with dissolved biologically active ingredients. Mixing with the components of sebum on the skin surface, jojoba forms a gas permeable protective layer. It prevents the formation of comedones (blackheads). Rich in protein, which resembles collagen is resistant to oxidation and high temperatures. It has anti-inflammatory and normalizing properties, so it is useful for both dry and oily skin.

Embryonic shell rye and wheat slow down the ageing of cells, stimulate metabolism, improves the condition and rejuvenates all skin types, improves the complexion, keeps the skin elastic and fresh even in old age. Germ oil rye and wheat has a high penetrating power, increases the excretion of harmful substances from the body.

Hypericum is used as an astringent and antiseptic agent and contains tannin, volatile oil, β-sitosterol, triterpene saponins, vitamins C, E, flavonoids, anthraquinones, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.

Dill recommended in folk medicine and used as a lotion on inflamed and reddened eyes from fatigue.

Green tea is widely used in cosmetics, solving a variety of skin problems. On the one hand, thanks to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties, green tea extract is used for the care of problem skin. It reduces inflammation and redness, removes excess fat, helps your skin to acquire a healthy look, there is a prolonged cleaning and tightening and the skin becomes matte and a pleasant pink tint, allowing you to forget about a pale and yellow complexion or the constant companion that oily skin may have become.   On the other hand, due to regenerative properties, green tea is often used in cosmetics for mature skin. The composition comprises an extract of his strongest biostimulants, humidifiers and moisture saving substances. The ingredients of green tea have a good penetrating power, allowing them to act not only on the deep layers of the epidermis, and on the dermis as well. At the same time they increase the microcirculation in tissues, stimulate the production of skin's own collagen. Furthermore, green tea contains antioxidants.

Centaury is used to treat age spots.

Willow (bark) is used for varicose veins, Athlete's Foot, and various skin diseases.

Ginger (root) has potent antimicrobial and strong immunomodulatory effects. 

Eliminates fatigue and skin laxity, it produces an immediate tightening effect and also stimulates, regenerates and tones the skin cells.

Cocoa is used in cosmetics for skin rejuvenation of the face and neck. It has high regenerative and anti-allergic properties.

Galangal (root). In scientific medicine is used as an astringent, bactericidal, hemostatic and has anti-inflammatory properties from the rhizomes. Calendula (flower) is mainly used as an antiseptic in the treatment of minor wounds, cuts, bruises, burns, frostbite, furunculosis

Kalina (leaves and fruits) are effective for rashes and eczema.

Cabbage - a great cosmetic. It has a rejuvenating effect, so it is used for rinsing the face and preparing various cosmetic masks.

Potato starch contains many useful substances for our body – vegetable protein, potassium, phosphorus, vitamins B1 and C, makes the skin fresh, soft and young.

Pine nut (peel). The shell pine nuts are rich in tannins. Preparations of cedar have antimicrobial, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, wound-healing properties.

Cypress (essential oil). Suitable for sensitive skin, tightens enlarged pores, helps eliminate warts and papillomas.

Cyprus has anti-inflammatory properties and produces a soothing effect.  Is used in cosmetics addressing pink acne, erysipelas, and other acute inflammatory processes.

Red clover contains phytoestrogens, has anti-ageing, anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Cranberry (fruit) contains a powerful antioxidant.  It prevents the spreading within the body,by binding, of  infectious diseases. Also known as an excellent tool in the fight against wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes.

Horse chestnut (fruit) is effectively used by virtually all leading companies as the №1 means in the fight against varicose veins. Has anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling effects, it restores the damaged lipid barrier, improves microcirculation, strengthens the walls of blood vessels, stimulates the excretion of fluid from the subcutaneous tissue.

Red Grapes  contain a rich complex of antioxidants. Filipendula (meadowsweet) extract – a source of biologically active substances (bioflavonoids, catechins, minerals), its antiviral and antibacterial activity are widely known for their soothing, antipyretic and tonic effect.

Lavender (stem) has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Essential oil solution promotes healing without serious scarring on the skin.

Bay Leaf improves the body's resistance to pathogenic bacteria, increases the body's immune system in general and volatile aromatic substances inhibit the growth of bacteria and tubercle bacillus.

Laurel oil – has a tonic, absorbing, detoxifying and anti-inflammatory action. It is used in anti-cellulite formulations for resorption of bruises and scars, skin defects.

Kelp is used to combat cellulite, stretch marks and for other health and beauty treatments. It nourishes, softens and moisturizes the skin, providing a drainage effect and counteracts the local depositing of fat, stimulates metabolism in the skin and has an anti-inflammatory action.

Lily of the valley.   Used topically for allergic skin diseases as an antipruritic and anti-inflammatory agent.

Potentilla goose has astringent, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, wound-healing properties.

Hazel (branch) has a healing effect, strengthens hair roots.

Flax (seed meal) used in the composition of masks for dry, aging skin, since it contained phytoestrogens, and also to treat inflamed skin with acne. Flax seed contains essential for healthy skin linoleic acid.

White Lily has soothing properties, it is one of the most effective tools in the fight against freckles.

Lemon is widely used as a cosmetic. Lemon water softens and whitens the skin, it is used in a mixture with beaten egg white, glycerin and cologne to get rid of freckles, age spots and rejuvenate the skin. Lemon juice heals cracks in the skin, reduces fragility of nails.

Burdock (root) topically applied for the treatment of eczema, skin rashes, acne.  Extract of the roots of burdock is used twice a week to strengthen and better hair growth.

Toadflax. Toadflax ointment is rubbed into the head for rapid hair growth as well as in the treatment of eczema and psoriasis.

Linseed oil stabilizes the cell membrane, is a source of linolenic acid. Due to its composition flaxseed oil and cosmetic products based on it perfectly moisturise, provide a softening effect and help to increase the elasticity of the skin. Moisturising effect is obtained when using linseed oil and is long acting. In other words, flax oil has a rejuvenating effect on the skin, and also has antibacterial properties.

Lovage is used externally for dermatitis, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, common acne, eczema as a healing agent.

Marjoram is used orally in the form of infusion and externally – for baths and lotions as a wound-healing agent.

Raspberry - time-tested cosmetic product, contains vitamins A, E, PP, B2, which are responsible for the vitality and elasticity of the skin and smooth complexion. Malina has a rejuvenating, moisturising, nourishing and whitening effect. Ointments from the juice of fresh raspberry leaves help to get rid of blackheads.

Malva sylvestris (extract) has an anti-inflammatory effect, relieves irritation and soothes the skin. It is especially effective in the composition of products for dry and sensitive skin care.

Cuff. External used products with cuff address abrasions, ulcers, nonhealing wounds, acne, dislocations, sprains, tumors.

Mother and stepmother (Leaves) treat acne, dandruff, excessive sweating, remove calluses.

Lungwort has hemostatic, astringent, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Effective in diathesis.

Melissa has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, eliminates dryness, burning, itching. Suitable for dry, irritated and ageing skin.

Almond bran used to address freckles, sunburn spots, bruises, and urticaria. Almond oil helps with stretching. Rinsing hair preparations with almonds helps dandruff and has a calming effect.

Juniper is used in the treatment of eczema, various dermatoses, inflammatory skin lesions, infiltrates. Promotes rapid regeneration of skin cells, inhibits the growth of scar tissue.

Carrots - a very popular component of cosmetic masks because of the wealth of vitamin A makes it an indispensable “beauty vitamin”, so carrots helps fight skin ageing and wrinkles, it promotes the skin renewal process, and is also useful for strengthening nails.

Contained in the oats silicon prevents the formation of wrinkles, magnesium strengthens skin collagen structure and the sulphur is an important element for the metabolism of the nervous tissues and blood, hair, nails, bones and cartilage. Sulphur is part of vitamin B1, insulin, amino acids. Polysaccharides of oats, coming into contact with the skin, causing swelling and restoration of collagen fibres, the skin is straightened, wrinkles smoothed and signs of fatigue disappear. The most active beta-glucan oat and the group of saponins, these substances react with the skin's immune system and stops the operation of destruction of complex molecules and epidermal cells.

Cucumber seeds are recommended for acne, rashes, inflammatory skin diseases. Dandelion is used externally for abrasions, eczema, skin rashes.

Dandelion (root) is used in the treatment of skin disorders – rashes, eczema, acne, warts and corns.

Comfrey has a remarkable healing effect due to allantoin. This substance dissolves inflammatory infiltrates and stimulates tissue neoplasm.

Has anti-inflammatory, regenerating, moisturising, emollient, tonic, brightening and anti-ageing effect for the skin. It is used for tired skin; It restores elasticity, rejuvenates and gives freshness to flabby, wrinkled and sagging skin. Peach oil provides excellent care for eyelids and lips, for the problem areas of the body (inflammation, diaper rash, loss of elasticity). It is used for eczema, dermatitis, burns, cellulite, for nail care. It can be used both in pure form or in a mixture with other vegetable oils for body skin care, facial and hand, as well as the base oil for the dissolution of natural essential oils and certain pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.

Petitgrain (essential oil) has powerful antioxidant and regenerative properties and therefore can be used in combination of prophylactic measures to prevent premature ageing of the human body.

Parsley  used as anti-inflammatory, wound healing, skin-lightening agent. In addition, parsley is used to strengthen the gums and to reduce sweating.

Tansy (flowers). Topical application of  plant: used for baths and poultices for indolent inflammation of the skin and joints.

Peony (root) is used in shampoo to enhance  hair growth.

Plantain has hemostatic, anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effects – it is known that the leaves of this plant are applied to the wound to accelerate healing and reducing inflammation.

Wormwood – hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and wound-healing agent, is used for the treatment of inflammatory and allergic conditions of the skin.

Motherwort has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects. Outwardly, motherwort is used in the form of infusions for the healing of wounds, burns and frostbite.

Milk Thistle (seed meal) contributes to further fortifying, nourishing, moisturising and skin rejuvenation. It helps improve skin tone, increase protective function, elasticity and suppleness of the skin, accelerate blood circulation in the skin, and even smooth out shallow wrinkles on the face

Radish (seeds) have strong antiseptic properties and promote the healing of wounds. In folk medicine it is used as a tool to remove freckles and as a hair tonic.

Rice flour – a very good antioxidant and absorbant. It absorbs excess fluid and absorbs all that is harmful to the skin.

Rhodiola rosea (root) has a stimulating effect, increases the overall resistance of the body, counteracts stress and helps the body recover after illness. It has anti-TB and anti-tumor activity, increases the oxygen content in the cells of all organs and tissues – in fact, this is what gives it such a highly therapeutic ability.

Rowan (fruits and leaves). Fruits tightens pores, tones, stimulates the synthesis of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, slows down skin ageing, relieves inflammation and irritation of the skin, has anti-ageing properties, tightens, soothes. It has antibacterial and wound-healing effects. Leaves provide an anti-inflammatory and hemostatic action.

Celery (root) is included in the composition of cosmetic products as a moisturising and nourishing agent.

Hay – At the bottom of the haystack: leaves, grains, twigs of various plants.   Ground hay has therapeutic effects.   

Soy flour –  has a tonic and smoothing effect on the skin.

Soybean oil. Like all oils rich in essential fatty acids, soy restores epidermal barrier and water-retaining capacity of the skin, and, due to the presence of phytosterols and tocopherols has a strong regenerating action. It slows down the ageing of the skin as it contains natural antioxidants.

Licorice (root). The roots and rhizomes contain 23% glycyrrhizin, belonging to the group of saponins. The root powder is capable of producing foam with water. Preparations of licorice promote healing.

Russian thistle is used as a healing agent in the form of compresses.

Pine (seeds) strengthen the hair, stop hair loss, improve elasticity and tone. Smooths and rejuvenates the skin, improves its barrier function, normalizes the physiological susceptibility of sensitive receptors. Eliminates furunculosis, seborrhea, inflammatory and neurohumoral rash.

Spirulina promotes tissue oxygenation and increased circulation. Natural regeneration and skin protective functions are enhanced. Spirulina also has an effect on the blood vessels, removing spasms and strengthen capillaries, thereby rejuvenating the skin, increases cell viability and smoothes fine lines.

Sporysh applied topically for various skin conditions as well as for the treatment of wounds, ulcers and bruises.

Uliginose. Apply at hardhealed wounds, ulcers and burns. The therapeutic effect is attributed to cudweed marsh complex influence of vitamins and other substances contained in the plant and mainly pro-vitamin A – carotene, possessing the ability to increase the immunobiological properties of the organism in various pathological processes.

Creeping Thyme. Pharmacological properties of the thyme herb bind mainly thymol relating to derivatives of phenol. Unlike phenol thymol is less toxic, less irritating to mucous membranes, has bactericidal activity against coccal flora and are also active against harmful fungi.

Oatmeal is used topically for skin diseases – herpes, eczema, diathesis and rheumatism. With fading skin a mask of oatmeal mix is recommended. 

Bearberry is a pronounced antiseptic.

Jerusalem artichoke (the fruit). It has long been used as a cosmetic anti-wrinkle treatment. Wrinkles are smoothed, the skin becomes soft and supple. Greater cosmetic effect can be achieved if the resulting mix is added to with some flax or hemp oil.

Trepang (sea ginseng) extract – a powerful anti-oxidant, anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-microbial agent. It has a unique composition – contains everything needed to build cells.

Pumpkin (fruit, seeds) - the perfect tonic for all skin types, is used as a cosmetic anti-wrinkle. Wrinkles are smoothed, the skin becomes soft and supple. Greater cosmetic effect can be achieved if the resulting mix is added to with some flax or hemp oil.  The seeds contain one of the most useful oils for health. Rich in minerals and vitamins, thereby carry nutrition and hydration of the skin.

Yarrow has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
